This year we decided to introduce a new campaign to the Class of 2018. The theme is to BE. Because whatever you are, whoever you are, if you can decide to own it and BE it, you’ll be able to face the work with confidence, self acceptance and love. So BE strong, BE smart, BE fearless, BE funny or just BE.
Lauren is one of our senior representatives from Dutchtown High School and her slogan for the campaign was to BE Original. Which I absolutely love because she truly embraces her originality. She has a great sense of style, and she’s not afraid to take risks in fashion. She plays the ukulele and she strives to move against the grain, which are all amazing qualities to have when you are only a senior in high school.
I knew I had to go above and beyond with Lauren to really encapsulate her style and to do justice to her awesome personality. We started out in our studio courtyard where the beautiful summer greens contrasted perfectly with her pick floral skirt and top. I love the images of her on our swing and her gorgeous closeups next to the honey suckle bushes! From there we decided to go on location to a California styled boulevard that would look awesome with her long striped skirt and flowy white top.
But my favorite look is definitely her adorable overalls at a local greenhouse! Everything about this part of the shoot was perfection! I loved the outfit with this location, the lighting was amazing and of course Lauren herself was SLAYING!
Overall, this was just such a great day and so many beautiful images came from Lauren’s session. I couldn’t be happier with her beautiful senior portraits.
