One of my all time favorite sessions! I’ve decided to feature Mackenzie because her session was shot in October of 2016 and it’s one the BEST months for senior pictures! Here’s just the top 3 reasons why:
- The weather is perfect! It’s just starting to cool off but it’s not too cold! The air is light and crisp and best of all, NOT HUMID!
- The colors! In Louisiana you get the most fall colors (actually the only fall colors!) in October and November. So if you look good in jewel tones or had your heart set on some red and brown leaves in your pictures, October is the month for you!
- The soft light! There’s something about the position of the sun this time of year that makes the light for photographing absolutely perfect. Not too harsh and not too dim, just soft and warm and beautiful.
The only bad thing about October is it fills up fast! So if you want a fall session call our studio sooner than later to book it! Mackenzie chose our Favorite session for $450 that includes a location shoot! We trucked all over downtown BR to get these awesome shots in an abandoned building, hiked up to the levy right at sunset, and of course hit up my favorite blue brick wall!
She did such a good job planning her outfits and even brought some smoke bombs to add something super different to her session! She actually inspired us to start offering smoke bombs in our sessions so you can now add them to yours too without having to pre-order them!
