Summer time might be my favorite time of year to take children’s portraits because I have every excuse to take shirtless little boy pictures. I don’t know if there’s anything sweeter than a barefoot, bare-chested toddler playing with his cars on the bridge in my back yard. Well I may be biased considering he’s my little toddler, but still that blonde mope and little pout just tugs at my heart strings!
I whipped the camera out to capture my littlest two a few Sunday’s ago. It was impromptu and a hot August afternoon but I love how their little personalities just shine in these images. My moody two year old, Joseph, completely devastated one minute and then ecstatic the next. And my sweet little 10 month old, Cozette, staring at everything in wide-eyed wonder. I know these are the oments I’ll look back on and wish for in a few years when they are both growing up and their little chubby cheeks are hollowing. And I’m so glad I took the time to capture them.
