Destination: St. Augustine!
2021 was quite a year (in more ways than one!) and in true 2021 fashion our destination shoot to St. Augustine was one for the books! The beautiful European styled architecture was truly inspiring! We knew we would love the heart of St. Aug, St. George street, but the port really surprised us! We had not planned to shoot in the marina but when we saw the beautiful Bridge of Lions and the serene waters we knew it would be the perfect backdrop for our stunning model, Rebecca.
Ahhh, Rebecca. We truly could not have wished for a sweeter, more versatile, fun and photogenic model! Rebecca graduated from East Ascension last year and was our 2021 Model Contest Winner! Every year the model with the most referrals wins an all expense paid trip to a dream destination shoot! We’ve been to New York twice, Vegas once, Key West and St. Augustine! We are really hoping to take our model shoots to the international level soon! Where will we end up this year?! Each year as we plan our Destination Shoot, we aim for a new and exciting location with unique backdrops. We then create a mood board to begin styling our model based on the location of the shoot and the models physical attributes. Rebecca is a dancer so we knew she would be able to fit into basically anything and do any pose we wanted! We took full advantage of her flexibility and can-do attitude! Rebecca was styled in 3 different looks: European Couture, Shipwrecked and Retro meets Boho. Check out our final mood board below to see how we coordinated her outfits with the locations!
This was such a fun trip and we captured so many amazing images and made lots of great memories (even the 4 hour delay on the flight home will be something I’ll never forget, lol!). I am so excited to see how our models on team 2022 finish up! Only a few more weeks to earn referrals and then the winner will be announced!
